I’ve always been a big fan of stop-motion animations. Creating a whole new world from scratch on just a small scale. As you can see from these behind the scenes photos of our Cherry Crumble Pie Factory – it was quite a lot of work. Nevertheless, we took on the challenge – and it was quite a lot of fun as well!

Altogether the shooting of this production took us 5 days. Another week or so for the post production and editing, until the final product was ready: 2 minutes and 24 seconds of glorious Vegan Cherry Crumble Pie Factory!

However, it was a lot of fun, we learned a lot during the process and it was definitely worth the labor. At least for us, hopefully you`ll enjoy the clip as well!

The thing with stop motion animation is, that it`s exactly what the name suggests – stop and go. You make one small movement, take a photo and move on. Again and again and again – in our case: 8 110 times.

Which as you can probably tell is quite time consuming and takes a lot of patience…

One of the downsides when working on such a small scale – you get literally stuck quite easily…
