- 1/4tsp Saffron
- 300g Basmati rice
- 1 Bio orange
- 1 Bay leaf
- Vegetable oil
- Grind the saffron to powder and mix with 1-2tsp warm water
- Sauté the rice in a pan with hot oil.
- Add 700ml water and bring to boil.
- Add the bay leaf and a pinch of salt.
- Let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the saffron water and let simmer for another 8-10min.
- Add the grinded orange peel.
